Solar panels were installed today.

Not the full range of TWENTY TWO [!] but 8, because the weather was AWEFUL today out at the NuHoose by the BillsBong. The rest will be done as soon as the boys can get back in better weather.

The inspector passed the installation, so now… The NuHoose is a power generator as well as a plain old dwelling only! Timing was tight, as the rate for a payback rate reduces at the start of October for new installations, and the power supply company wanted paperwork and inspections and redtape in byend of business, Friday. Ouch!

I went back to check it all after lunch.

Already, in an hour or so, it had produced a few watts under the grey cold Gippy sky.

As the time stamp shows, it was running for at least an hour, and could have put some electrons into the state power grid.

I say that as the power company still has to install yet another device [another small fee too] to monitor the individual electrons to reduce the bill for the actual house power use!

Where will it end?
